It’s taken a little while, but it seems that the first robot based on Microsoft’s Robotics Studio package is now available for sale, although it’s far from a consumer bot. Running a hefty $5,345, the so-called “e-nuvo WALK” robot from Japan’s ZMP (makers of the e-nuvo WHEEL, as well) measures 14 inches tall and is apparently intended primarily for research and education although, as you can see above, it also seems to be a strong candidate for the next RoboCup. According to the AP, those in Japan can place their orders for the robot now, but they’ll have to wait until sometime in January before they actually gets their hands on one.

That’s right, a Lamborghini Reventon was recently pit against a Tornado fighter jet “on a 3000-meter runway to see which vehicle could accelerate faster.” Unsurprisingly, the Lamborghini lost, but still managed to put on a great show — hopefully will be in the next Top Gear episode. Click here for first picture in gallery.

…the 650-horsepower Reventon may be badder than both John Shaft and Truck Turner combined, but when matched against a fighter jet whose twin Turbo-Union RB199 engines combine to make 39,332 horsepower at sea level, it’s bound to come up a little shy

Hogan’s Alley is basically “a 1984 arcade game by Nintendo — one of the first games to use a light gun as an input device.” ScrewAttack takes a look back at this title after the break.

“Hogan’s Alley” is the FBI’s training camp tool to train new recruits. The game flashes “cardboard cut-outs” of innocent civilians and thugs in front of the player and the player must react quickly to “take down” the bad guys and spare the innocents

These tiny ChoroQ Qsteer R/C cars from ThinkGeek feature independent channels and even a turbo button, so you’re able to “pit these mini sports cars against each other in a desktop duel to your stapler.” Video after the break. Click here for one more picture.

Normally tiny R/C cars are hard to drive and control like crap. They zip off your desk and land in the trash the minute you hit the gas. Not these precision ChoroQ Qsteer Mini R/C Racers imported from japan. Amazingly we were able to zoom these mini cars all over our desk with nary a fender bender
