While it may look like a sculpture, 60-percent of this Super Mario Galaxy cake is edible — “includes 7 batches of Rice Krispies and 7 cakes.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

I had an extremely hard time deciding what to put on the cake. If you’ve played the game you might understand.

Super Street Fighter II HD Remix reviewers report that the game is “admirably precise and meant for hardcore players, despite its increased approachability.” Continue reading for the video review.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix doesn’t have any frills and its mechanics — while extremely well-tuned — are simple. This is a game very dissimilar to modern fighters because it doesn’t shower you with extra modes, art galleries or unlockables.

The SEGA Homestar from Japantrendshop “is now the most advanced home planetarium on the market — projects more than 10 times as many stars as the previous Hometar Pro model at 5 times the illumination.” Product page. Video after the break.

This is high-end equipment for exploring astrology and creating ambient lighting all at once.

Created by “Ricepuppet” of DeviantArt, this custom Xbox 360 bears the image of Domo-Kun — mascot of NHK, a Japanese television station. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Here’s a nice paint job that will surely please many Japanese geeks, a Domo-kun painted X360. I’m honestly pretty impressed by the work done here.

Sony’s VAIO Pocket is its first foray in the Netbook world, and it’s definitely no slouch. Boasting a 1.33-GHz Intel processor, 1600 x 768 8-inch LED display, 60GB HDD or 128GB SSD, and Windows Vista. No word yet on pricing or availability. Click here for one more picture.

I believe this is the first notebook I’ve seen that can be configured in SSD sizes bigger than what’s available in traditional drives. Battery and pricing are filled in as “X’ and “NaN”, still yet to be determined. It’ll come in red, silver-painted plastic (bleh) and black.

Unlike its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto 2 “is set in an unspecified time in a metropolis referred to only as ‘Anywhere City’.” ScrewAttack takes a look back at this title after the break.

The year isn’t specified, but the game’s manual uses the phrase “three weeks into the future”; fictional journal entries on the GTA2 website advocate the year to be 2013.

Plenty of gadget charger options are out there, but the new Energizer Solar Charger combines portability with renewable electricity. In addition to the standard AC outlet and rugged case, there’s also a USB port. Click here for one more picture.

By choosing cheap semi-disposable rechargeable batteries as the guts of the device, Energizer will reportedly be able to keep the price down at a reasonable $50, 2 AAs included.
