Chevrolet Volt’s Driver-Activation Warning System for the Blind Gets Demonstrated

Chevrolet recently demonstrated how the Volt’s innovative driver-activation warning system for the blind works at the Milford Proving Grounds. It’s “described as more of an ‘excuse me’ sound than ‘hey you’ sound.” Video after the break.
Of course, depending on the driver does have its limitations, and Chevy states that future iterations of the Volt are apt to incorporate a more active system that can automatically alert pedestrians.
