David Riesenberg obviously had his head in the clouds when he dreamed up the OO High Definition Wireless Projector, but it’s not like we’re kvetching about his imagination’s capability to go far beyond the limits of most humans. For one thing, the concept 1080p projector looks (and lands) like a stunning orange UFO; for another, the specs are otherwordly. Should the device ever come to market, Reisenberg says it will pack SSD storage, WiFi and internal decoder chips into its svelte, 11-inch round carbon fiber frame, as well as three independently articulated legs for balance and a Li-ion battery for up to three hours of cord-free HD streaming and playback. Did we mention it’s got a matching touchscreen remote? And our deepest affection, forever and ever? See what we’re drooling over in Riesenberg’s subtle video homage to a certain interstellar piano waltz right after the break.

[Thanks, David]

If that sounds familiar, it is — the game is a port of an iPhone App Store gem. Regardless of its somewhat KIRFish nature, we do wish Meizu (its app developers) all the best. Now, when are we going to get Super Monkey Ball for this thing?

Called the Opera Mobile Designer Suite, this pop-up camper is more luxury mini house than your standard trailer. Featuring a “ceramic toilet, electrically adjustable beds, water heater, hot air heater and low-energy LED floor lighting.” Continue reading for one more picture.

But the Opera clearly isn’t targeted at teens looking to earn their fire starting badge, but for people who want a well-appointed “holiday home” that they have the ability to literally take anywhere.

We don’t see too many Gigabyte phones in these parts, but all indications seem to suggest that the company is throwing in with Android for future handset releases (which is what we would advocate, if it ever asked us — which it doesn’t). As we wait eagerly for the GSmart Android phone to make its debut, which should happen any second now (right, guys?) we’ve word of a second Donut-powered device with the oh-so-unappealing name Codfish. According to PointGPhone, this bad boy is of “good manufacturing quality,” “very responsive,” and counts among its many charms a 3.2-inch display and 5 megapixel camera. We’re just hoping that Codfish is either a codename or translates into something really bad-ass in Mandarin.

EA has already said that it was able to get 3D games up and running on webOS in a “matter of weeks” using the OS’ PDK (or Plug-in Development Kit), but it looks like Palm might be ready to step things up even further at GDC next week. While any official word will have to wait until then, John Paczkowski of AllThingsD states that he’s heard from sources close to the company that Palm will be now demonstrating how iPhone apps can be ported to webOS “in a matter of days,” and with virtually no degradation in performance. Not much more to go on that at the moment, unfortunately, but you can be sure we’ll be there at GDC to how this and anything else Palm might have in store pans out.

It seems to us that if you indulge in mobile video from time to time, you’re either lugging around a device with a decent display size (netbook, tablet, whatevs) or more likely than not you’re watching your Britain’s Got Talent! clips on a handset — either solution is obviously less than ideal. What if we told you that Motorola has filed a patent application for a “Reconfigurable Multiple-Screen Display”? This technology will essentially let you configure multiple devices for use as one huge display: Instead of lugging around your Thinkpad or suffering the indignity of watching postage stamp-sized video on your Droid you can simply and conveniently carry four phones around. Why didn’t we think of that?
